For DS156, what shud i put for "National Identifiation Numnber" I have been to the us previously and have a social sec number. shud i put that?

What visa are you applying for and how long has it been since you have been to the US. Is your SSN still alive? If alive put that number, otherwise don't.

iwas on F1 visa for 3 yrs . 2 yrs back , i cme to india. i guess the ssn is still valid. not sure though. i have given thisssn to my employer in usa. all y i129 docs etc contain this number
