L1 to H1

My husband is on L1 visa working for company A. Another company B had sent his papers for H1 on August 10, the day when the cap was filled. But we have not got his papers back. How do we know whether we have been rejected or got it through? How soon the papers will be sent back? When will we know the result?
Anyone please help.

Hi,
In this regard you should contact the company/attorney and try to get hold of the LIN/SRC/WAC/ number and try to track the same to find out the status. Even if the papers have been sent back, it would reach only the co. or the attorney. So they should be able to help you.
