Can I still travel outside the country using F-1 after the H1B petition got approved?
I'm graduating in June and have a plan to travel internationally and come back before the degree conferral date.
I will start working in July and got my H1B petition approved for Oct (will work on OPT between July-Sep). However, I haven't received my EAD card.
Will I still be able to get back in the country using my F-1 visa stamp? Is the change of status effective immediately after the H1B petition got approved?
Do I need to acquire a new visa stamp for H1B during the trip. (Since I have to work on OPT for a couple months, I thought I should be on F-1.)
Please help!!
