Can i go outside the country once H1B is approved

Hi i am currently in the US on a L1B I-94 extension on company A and i applied for a new H1B thru another company B. My project with Company A is ending in Aug by which i hope my h1b would be approved. Can i travel out of the country in Aug, get stamping in Philippines (my homeland) for H1B and then come back in the end of September?

Any advice is appreciated.

Assuming you want to work for H1 Employer B.

Yes you can if your employment with B is starting on 01-Oct-2013. If approved the H1 would be valid from 01-OCt-2013 till petition end date and you can enter upto 10 days before start of employment that is between Sep 20 - Oct 01.
