Hi,
My wife is pursuing MS and is currently on H4 visa. My question is, if she continues on H4 visa what are her chances in getting a job and change to H1 considering she will not have a CPT or OPT.
The possible issue here could be, the employer will have to file H1B visa for her but not have her work till H1B takes effect. I wonder if employers or consultancies even do that.
Converting to F1 is prolonging her graduation since F1 itself takes 5 months. Kindly suggest as what best can be done.
