H1B Withdrawal, termination notice, DOL complaint
I'm in h1b work visa, I went to maternity off in from nov2012 - feb2013.
While returning my contract with client got over. So I had to look for a new job.
Being a full time employee to a consultant company they did not pay me basic basic salary.
My employer did not tried to place me in any company, I found a job offer in different state Georgia, Atlanta. I relocated from California to Atlanta. And joined the new IT company.
Things were hard to handle practically alone with my infant baby. So I quited the new job and I moved back to my husbands place.
My employer tried to convince me to join back to the same client. But I m not able to handle things staying away from family. So I disagreed.
Finally my employer sent me termination notice today to my H1B visa giving 15 days of time. What should I do. My email I'd
but i got a job offer the next day i got termination notice. And i have filed dol complaint.
Now i looked for a new employer and
New LCA is Filed on 07/03/2013. and i joined to work on 07/082013.
My new employer is waiting for LCA approval to apply New H1B.
am i legal to stay in United states and Work with DOL complaint?
Im not sure how long will take for LCA approval and to file H1B.
