H1B stamping at HYD, Petition validity

Hi,

I have H1B Petition valid till 01/31/2014, now I am planning to attend for the stamping in Hyderabad consulate. I want get clarify on below query’s.
1) Since my petition is valid for another 6 months only ...hence is it show any impact on chances of getting the visa?
2) In case if i don’t get the visa. Then can i transfer the visa to another company?

2) In case if i don’t get the visa. Then can i transfer the visa to another company? -- Yes, irrespective of whether you get the Visa, you will be eligible for cap-exempt petition for up to 6 years.
