  • H1B stamping After employer change and old visa stam is expired

    Hello fellow H1b's

I may have to travel India for some personal work. I came to USA in 2010 and Change my employer in 2011 then my visa stamp was still valid and i traveled to India once with old employer valid visa stamp and I797 in 2011. My visa stamp is expired in 2012. Now when i travel to india in 2013 i will have to go for stamping that i know but below are few questions

    1. Do i have to fill DS160?
    2. If yes Can i pay visa fee of $190 with my credit card here in USA?
    3. If so where from i get fee receipt i mean which Bank?
    4. Am i eligible for visa interview waiver?

All your help is very much appreciated.

    Thanks
    Sameer

    1. Yes
    2&3. Check options at https://www.immihelp.com/usa-visa-fe...ions-in-india/
    4. No as you changed your employer and as your visa stamp expired more than 12 Months back. https://www.immihelp.com/us-visa-int...-visa-renewal/

This is my opinion not legal advice.
