F1 to H1b without OPT

Hi All,

I had previously done a master's in the US and applied for an OPT, i had to leave the US due to some personal circumstances, without using my OPT. I am now planning on doing an MBA and without the option of an OPT, i will have to obtain a H1b directly after graduation to work. It would be great if i could get some views on this.

That is certainly possible. But your employer should be comfortable with the idea of filing the petition in April and starting employment on Oct 1.
