Can H4 person apply for I94 extension?

Hi

My wife is on H4 visa. Her visa and I94 expires on Apr 2014. Recently I changed my employer. I got new i797 and I94 until Dec 2014.
1. Can my wife apply for a new I94 which will expire on Dec 2014(based on my status) or does she need to go back to india for stamping?

Yes She can file by submitting form I539 and associated documentation.
