Please Help: Regarding H1B

Hi,

I need your help. Currently i am working for Compnay X and having L1 Visa with me but i am still in India only and did not get chance to travel US. In the mean time my H1B Visa from other emplyer say B is also got approved and my Visa interview date is on 16th dec in Delhi. My doubt is can i go for H1B interview along with L1 visa. And what will happen with L1 visa if my H1B visa got approved or otherwise also. Do i have to resign from my Current employer A before going for H1B visa interview?

Hi Rohit,
You don't have to resign from your current employer for going for the interview! In fact stick on to the job till you get the staped passport in your hands. In all probability, your L1 will be cancelled if your H1B is issued.

You can transfer from one H1B to another H1B and not from L1. You can transfer only when you are in valid H1B status.
