I'm currently in US on H-4 visa and planning a trip to India in Jan 2014. I need to appear for visa interview at that time.
I have a DS-160 confirmation #. I want to appear for a family interview with my husband (H-1B) who also has a DS- 160 confirmation #.
Unfortunately, we both made our profile on visa web site to schedule an interview already. And updated the profile with our DS-160 confirmation#s.
NOW WHEN MY HUSBAND TRIES TO ADD ME FOR AN INTERVIEW TOGETHER, HE CANNOT DO IT SINCE I HAVE A SEPARATE PROFILE. I CANNOT DELETE MY PROFILE OR REMOVE MY INFORMATION FROM MY ACCOUNT.
When I contacted US visa support email: They replied saying, " it is not possible to add the dependent and they have to pay the visa fee individually and schedule the interview individually."
Please advise how can we arrange our interview together.
