Drop out after 1 sem of MS to pursue full time job and H1b

Hi,

I am a first year MS CS student. I have completed one semester but I no longer wish to complete my MS and want to start working again. Can i just go ahead and apply for a job? Can i apply without H1b and then talk about it in the interview or something, not sure about the H1B process. Are there some restrictions to do that? How do i know that my employer will sponsor H1B? Should i just ask them :P

Have you had an H1 before? If not, you will have to wait until Oct 1 to start working and petitions can be filed on or after Apr 1. If you want to remain in the US until Oct 1, you will have to maintain your full-time student status.
