Divorced, Need H4 visa for new wife and her minor son

Hello,
I am divorce per the US courts.
I am not sure or worried about the validity of divorce by Indian courts.
I am about the marry someone else from India and want her and her son to be with me in USA.

I am a permanent resident of USA.

Is this doable?
I assume my ex-wife won't fight the judgement given by US courts and I can remarry in India.

Any suggestions?

If you are permanent resident, you can't bring your spouse and her child immediately to the US.

Once you file their green card, and I-130 is approved, they need to wait for the priority date to get current before they can apply for immigrant visa. Fortunately, the priority date now a days is very quick in 09/2013, but it fluctuates up to few years back.

Just to refresh the memory- I am GC holder and want to remarry someone in India and bring her here in USA.
Is applying for an H4 visa not even an option??

Does it help if I am a US citizen instead of a greencard. I will soon be eligible to be a US citizen.
