H1B Visa Stamped, Got Promotion : next steps ??

Hi.

I have a stamped h1b visa for Client A but my travel is delayed due to some year end budget issues with this client.

So probably ill be flying for a different client (Client B) in a different location.
In the mean time, i have been promoted and my designation has changed.
Do i have to get my h1 Amended even though i have a visa ?

OR

Is it just a LCA change with the new role and TM ?

Please advise on the correct steps. Thanks

Your employer will have to file a new LCA and petition amendment for the new location anyway.

Your promotion is for your current job. The job you will be doing in the US is a different job, so it is up to your employer to decide if they want to send you in a different designation to the US as well. They can include that in the new LCA and petition amendment.
