I had a question regarding renewal of my H1B visa. I would really appreciate if you could help me with any information regarding this.
Here is my question.
The VISA expiry date on my current H1B VISA is January 2014. And the petition expiry date according to my I-797 is September 2014. I am visiting India in the month of February 2014 so I will have to get my VISA stamped again with the corrected expiry date.
I understand that I will have to go through the VISA interview process again. I am not sure if I have to do both the appointments i.e. for finger-printing and photo at an offsite center (VAC) and another for visa interview at the Embassy or Consulate.
Please advise if I am required to do the finger-printing and photo appointment as well.
