Renewing H1B & H4 together with drop box (IWP) at Hyderabad Consulate

Hello, My wife and I are travelling to India in Feb 2014 to renew our H1B & H4 together. We qualify for the drop box option. However, I was wondering if we can apply for the renewal together through the IWP or if my wife needs to wait until my visa is approved. We are planning to apply at the Hyderabad consulate. Anyone with similar experience?
