H1B - Query regarding recovering days outside US

Hi,

I am on a H1 which is valid till end of 2014. I got my H1 in 2009 and extended again in 2012.

In 2009 I was in US for 5 months and in 2011 for 6 months and from 2012 to till now I am in US. In between I was in India with same company. The stay in India was less than a year each time.

Will I be eligible to recover the days I was in India if I file the extension at end of 2014? Kindly advice.

Yes you should be if you are able to prove that you were outside US during those times.
