F1 to H1

Hello

My H1 got approved last week. I came here on F1 visa. My consultant received my I-94 and said its valid for 3 years. My question is does that mean my Change of Status is approved and I dont need to go to India for stamping to convert my F1 to H1 ?
I am a Full time student...

I do not think you need to return to your home country for stamping unless the document expressly says that.
