Shall I send I797 & I129 copies for prospect Job opportunity?

Hi,

I have been talking to many employers these days for transfer of my H1B but some are asking for a copy of I797 & I129 copies for their initial confirmation that I have approved petition. I want to know is there any risk involved in sending them so?

Also, My past employer has not given me original documents of my approved petition (I797 & I129). They just gave xerox copies to me, Is xerox copies of petition docs sufficient for H1B transfer?

Dont see any issues in doing so. Keep copies with you.
