h1b extnsion and h4 still initial review travelling india

Hello all,

My current H1B visa expired i got extension approval and papers also, my wife and kid is still in initial review. I am planning to visit india.
My questions are:

I come to know that we can't travel connecting cities other than Dubai and abudhabi. Remaining countries will not allow because on PP visa stamped date is already expired-- is this true?

Any restrictions like this i want to know before tickets booked.

Yes. Some European countries would not allow you to transit without a valid visa. Check with the airlines before booking a ticket with them.
