  • H4 Visa

    Hi All,
I came to US 2 weeks back on H1 visa. I have got the job and the joining date is Oct 2nd week. Now my wifes appointment date for H4 stamping is in Nov. Will there be any problem in her stamping as I dont have 3 months pay stubs. Are the pay stubs mandatory. I will have only a months pay stub.

Let me know if anybody has faced any such situtation.

Let me know what best possible can be done in such a situation.

    Waiting eagerly for reply

    Hi Prashant,
Your wife will certainly be asked for the latest pay-stubs. You are expected to be paid in accordance with the LCA the moment you are employed by the US Co. Write a letter to the consulate explaining the delay. Personally I think it would be better if your wife attends the H4 interview after you have received pay atleast for 3 months in accordance with the law. What is more important is you have to brief your wife on all these aspects.
