H1B Amendment for name correction

Hi,
I recently applied for H1B petition extension and got it approved. WHen i received the hardcopy i found that my name is not spelt correctly. So these are my questions:
1) Does this require an H1B Amendment?
2) If Amendment needs to be filed how long will it take?
3) Will this change my duration of the approved petition? I have got this for 3years!!
4) What are the complications if during this period i change employers?

1. Yes advisable to do an amedment, unless you are planning to adopt the wrong name.
2. 15 days in premium.
3. I dont think it will change the duration.
4. Advisable to do one thing at a time.
