I have been working in Canada for last 6 months, before that I was working in US. I have an H1 and a valid I94 with me from the previous company. Now I have got an offer from another US company and want to move to US.
My question: I assume I cant get an H1 transfer since I dont have paystubs from previous company for last 6 months and I may have to file new H1. In that case do I need to surrender my I94 or that doesnt matter and I can file new H1.
