LCA change / amendment due to change in job location and client

My project client and job location has changed (different city and state) and my LCA change has been initiated which may lead to an amendment as well.
Due to a personal family problem, I was thinking to relocate to my new location after three months.
The question is: Is it legal to work remotely from my current location temporarily for a few months after I receive the LCA change and initiate the amendment process or I would have to initiate the relocation process soon after the LCA is changed and the amendment process has been initiated?

Appreciate a response on this at the earliest with links to rules governing this process.
