H1B stay in USA - L1+H1 combination

Hi

I am on H1B visa now and I have query regarding stay in USA ?

I came to USA on L1B Visa on Aug 2008 to Aug 2011(around 3 years stay in USA). then I went back to India on 15th Aug 2011 again come back to USA on 18th Aug 2012 on H1B Visa

From 18th Aug 2012 I am working on H1B Visa. So My question is

1) how much time I can stay in USA ?
2) will USCIS count L1 and H1B stay together and in between I have 1 year gap ( stayed in India)

Who is right person to contact in USCIS , I 've dialed NCSC toll number(1-800-375-5283) ,but they don't know about this L1 + H1 query.

Appreciate if you give me appropriate answer

When was the H1 applied? If your H1 petition was applied before the completion of your 1 Year outside stay period then your previous L1 stay would be counted in the L1+H1 6 Years limit.

I've applied new H1B on 25th nov 2011 and got approved on 25th April 2012 and entered in USA on 18th aug 2012.

I believe your L1 time would be counted as your H1 was applied before you completed 1 Year stay outside.
