I would be extremely grateful if someone could answer this query for me.
I am in US with an H4 visa, and am aware that I am not allowed to work while on US soil and I am not engaged in any "work" which gives me any income.
I like to write however, and I was wondering if getting my writings published while on US soil constitutes "work".
Is it considered "working" only if I earn money for it? If I do so without taking any payment for the same, is that allowed?
