Hi,
I am working in a US firm with an Indian office. I was freelancing as a trainer with them till last June
I entered the US in July Last year on a B1 visa and was subsequently interviewed for a full-time position with the US head-office. I was immediately tasked with writing a book in collaboration with SMEs/ Experts in the US office. I left the US (within the I94 date) in January and returned in March (again on B1) to complete this book / film training videos.
During this period I was being paid in Indian Rupees via my account in India. Meanwhile my H1b got approved and I intend to return to India once this book is published in August.
My primary inquiry is whether I'll face any issues during stamping my H1B in October due to these prior B1 visits. Will having my name as a author and my training videos be a valid reason for staying on the B1.
