I had attended H1B Visa interview in 2009.
The consulate lady who interviewed me asked lots of questions during interview and in the end she said she has doubt with my employer in US, hence she provided me 2 options.
1. To withdraw petition
2. If I go ahead without withdrawal, she would be needing additional documents which I need to submit later on which will be longer process.
She gave me 1 hr time to think and talk to concerned guys. ( even she allowed me to outside and come back.)
After discussing with my US employer I asked her to go ahead with Withdrawal of petition. She then gave me form saying "Petition withdrawn" stamp on it.
Now I want to file H1b again, 1. Can I use that petition again ? 2. Do I need to file petition with same old employer or can I file petition using new employer ?
Do I need to start process all over again ? Can I use old selected petition than going through lottery process?
