H1B Visa Reset - Need info Pls

Hi,

I traveled to USA in L1B visa in November 14,2009 and returned back to India in Oct 21, 2012 (3 years i stayed in US (3 weeks i went to india in vacation)).
In 2013 April slot, i filed H1B, got approved and travel back to US in Nov 30, 2013. So, I stayed in india for 1 year and 1 month after my L1B Visa.

Now, the question,
1. is my H1B reset and i can stay in US for 6 years
OR
2. Is it continuation of my previous stay and i can stay only 3 years.

I searched in lot of websites it is confusing...some are saying option 1 and some are option 2 as above.

Can someone pls help me to understand.

3 Years. As you applied for H1 before completing 1 Year outside stay your L1 stay would get added.
