  • H1B Ammendment + H1B Extension

Hi experts - need some advice/inputs.

Currently I am working for Company A and the Client is C. I moved from previous Client B and my employer A made a new LCA reflecting current Client with Location (No Amendment yet).

My H1B will expire in Jan 15, i would like to apply for my Extension with new Client C. Can some one please let me know the answers for the below questions.

    Q1 : If i file H1B Amendment + Extension assuming Jun 20 , will my New 797 will have Jun20 2014 - Jun20 2017 (or) it will have Jan 16 2014 to Jan 16 2017 ??
Q2 : What are the Chances of filing an H1B before like 5-6 months any RFE ??
Q3 : My I-140 is in processing state ... In parallel i may file my extension of H1 - any probs ??

PS: this will be my first H1 extension

    Appreciate your help/input.

    1. It would be Jun 20 th onwards Why Jan 16th 2014??
    2. Cannot understand the question, RFE chances cannot be predicted, depends upon the weakness of the documents submitted.
    3. No issues.

This is my opinion not legal advice.
