Hi Everyone,
My current H1B is expiring on Sept 15th 2014. My employer filed for an extension and received the approval and the new I-797. I am leaving for a Europe tour on Aug 29th 2014 and will be back on Sept 9th 2014. My question is, can I come back to USA without re-stamping since the visa expires only on Sept 15th? Or do I have to get a new H1B visa stamped before re-entry since I have a new I-797 ?.
Has anyone re-entered the United states with just a few days left on your H1B visa? If so can you please share your experience.
