Lost the certificates..

Hi..
Actually while moving to a new place, I lost my original educational certificates. Now the duplicates that have been issued from the University is stating that "He lost the original certificate so we are issuing him a duplicate one". Now the thing is i have my H1 renewal in this year, so i am worried if this would be a problem.
Is there anybody who faced such a problem in the past. Need help immediately.

It has not happened to me but don't worry it is not an uncommon thing to lose your certificates and get duplicates.

But be ready to tell the officials how you lost them. I am presuming that you got ur education here in the US.

Well, I dont see a prob in ur case, for you to be moree confident, you can carry a copy of police complaint stating that you lost the original certificates, if possible.
