new passport applied just before H1 B stamping

Hi All,

I have applied for H1 B stamping with my old passport which is valid till oct 2015. Can I apply for tatkal passport?
Do I need to furnish additional details before going for stamping if I received my new passport before stamping ?
Are there any chance of getting rejected/put on hold for this reason?
