My I-94 & petition are valid until 30-Sep-2014. My current employer A has filed an extension on 09-Sep-2014 in regular processing. I am yet to receive the receipt number. I have a new employer B who is ready to transfer my H1-B in regular process. Now with just 3 weeks of valid I-94 is it safe to go along with company B ? As i will not have a valid receipt number with either of the employers after my I-94 expires. What would by my status in such scenario after my I-94 expires.
