My pasport expires in 7 months can i get visa stamping done?

I got my h1b visa renewal approved and i am going home to tanzania for visa stamping in november. Will i get visa stamping approved as my passport expired in july 2015? what do i need to do? i cant apply for a new passport as they require old one and can take a while. Please let me know.

normally if your passport expires within 6 months, then that should be a problem. In your case, you shud be good. Ring up the call center for more information.

Better apply for new passport,if you get 221 g slip which is very common now, your passport validity will be within 6 months
