  • H1B transferred; will I be able to travel other country

My H1B was stamped in India(with EmployerA).Recently I changed/transferred from EmployerA to EmployerB.

So the Visa which I hold is still valid? or Do i need to go my country and get the stamping again?
In between am I eligible to travel to other country. Not my home country.

    Hello, RajAV.

My understanding is if the dates on your H1B visa on the passport are valid, you could leave USA and re-enter. If the visa stamp is old then you will have to go for Consular Processing whenever you leave USA.

I am not sure about the Home Country part, so you might want to take some more opinions on that.

    Wishing you luck.

    Cheers,

These are my personal thoughts. I am not a professional.

    Wishing you luck.
