I am planning to go Ottawa,Canada in January 2015 to visit a friend. I need to go to embassy for H1B stamping to return back to US. I have been working as a IT consultant in a Desi company for more than 2 years, and with the same end client for almost 2 years. I have few concerns listed below. Please answer based on your personal experience.
· How long do I have to be present in Canada?
· Is it easier to get stamping in Ottawa, Canada or my own country ? (I would rather get stuck in my own country for couple of weeks than in Canada for further visa interrogation.)
· Do I need to present my tax return document to the Visa counselor, or would W2 suffice?
