Hi ,
I am planing to go to India around March 2015 . For Visa stamping I want to go to Kolkata Consulate because of travel convinience . Normally I get my stamping done from Mumbai consulate since the permanent address on my passport is from Baroda , Gujarat . The website says your consulate should be the one where you spend your last six months in India . This is a bit ambiguous since I have not been in India since last 9 years. Is it possible for me to set up an interview with Kolkata consulate instead of Mumbai.
