Status Change from H1B to F1
Hi,
Currently I am working on H1B since I entered US in April 2014. I am planning to go for higher studies in US itself using an F1 visa. I am planning to quit in June 2015, travel back to India, apply for a fresh F1 and enter into US againa at the start of the session in August 2015. I have few doubts stated below:
1. What happens to my bank accounts and credit card accounts when I leave US and get back on F1 and not on H1. Will they still be valid or will I have to shut them down before leaving itself?
2. Can I use the same SSN when I re-enter using F1?
It would be very helpful if someone can take this up. Thanks.
