My H4 will expire next week. I can't afford to leave the country. I have the option to do a COS to F2 (because my husband is switching from H1 to F1).
I just received an offer and my employer is willing to do PP for my H1 (cap exempt). However, it will only be filed a little after my H4 expires (note that I will still be valid here because my COS to F2 will be pending).
Despite this, can it still be filed as a COS from H4 to H1?
