H1/H4 Visa stamping

I, my husband and my kid came to US on L1/L2 visa and later changed the status to H1/H4. Now we want to travel to India, will we get our visas stamped? What are the procedures for things to go on fine. And also the company is filing for our green card. does travel now affect the green card process in any way?
We heard that if we give lawyers some fee they would process our travel procedures from booking appt. to visa stamping and there would be no problem in getting visas stamped, is it true? Can lawyers really do that?
can we use TTS online services to book appt.?
