H1 applicatiom for spuse currently in USA on H4, with possible travel

Hi All

I am on H1 in USA with my wife on H4. We are planning to apply for her H4 this year through consulting company.

But being on project myself, there is slight chance that we may need to travel back to India in June for few months. I did read the forum but still have the following questions:

1. I understand H1 draw is on April. If she gets H1 in draw, can we travel to India(after April) and back on her current H4.

2. I read if she travels to India before October after draw, her H1 application will get cancelled?

3. I read about something called advance parole request ( Some form I -572 etc) for this purpose. Can that be useful?

one source of confusion is if the COS comes in picture.

We are applying a new H1 application with an ew employer.

Does it involves H4-H1 COS?
