    Tax filing for H1 and H4 Visa jointly

    Hi,

    I am on H1 B with my wife and kid here. I am planing to file the tax as married filing jointly, however the form 1040NR doesn't have an option for that.

    Can I file form 1040 which aloows me to file as jointly? if not which form I should go with?
