My situation may little unique.
I changed my job and my H1 was transferred with premium processing last April. Unfortunately my spouse was in India and her H4 was not transferred. I initiated her transfer of H4 on August and my employer filed in normal processing and receipt date was Sept 4th. Till now, the decision is still pending and when contacted uscis, they told to wait for 2-3 weeks.
But we are planning to travel to India on feb end for 4 week vacation and we both should go for stamping since the visa is expired. I am not sure what to do right now. It seems, spouse cannot come for stamping till the petition is received. And I want to go for stamping at least within 2 weeks once I reach India.
Anyone, please help/suggest a way to handle this.
