H1B Transfer from Construction to IT
Hi All,
I have my bachelors from India & Master's from YYYY (Non profit University) from USA both in construction. I worked for 2 years here in USA on OPT & OPT Extension in construction and my H1B application was not selected in lottery, so I am doing MSMIT at Sullivan University to maintain F1 Status.
My question is, is it possible for me to transfer my Master’s H1B from construction to IT(Information Technology) after getting MSMIT degree from Profit accredited University. Does the transfer of H1B which I got through Master’s quota in construction can be used to transfer to IT using MSMIT degree that I have received from Sullivan University which doesn’t come under Master’s quota.
Please help me in answering the above question as much as possible. Thanks in advance.
