Amendment pending decision ,original petition revoked

Thanks a lot for reading this and appreciate if you can provide
suggestion if possible for you .

I received NOIR on my approved H1B and my employer has replied to NOIR .

Employer is expecting that H1B will be revoked .I have found another project
and employer is suggesting filling an amendment will save the H1B.

My question is - If the original petition/H1B is revoked while a decision
on the amendment is still pending , will the amendment be still valid .

If yes ,are there any reasons possible for which the amendment is also denied.
