Re-use H1B Visa Petition before?

I worked before with H1B visa until 2009. I only spent 2 years with H1B visa.
I wonder if I want to work in US again, I can use the petition I had before?
or I need to process new one(applying new petition and new H1B Visa)?

What was your last pay day in 2009 on H1? You can remain cap exempt till 6 Years from last held H1 status.
