H4 Visa Stamping with US Issued Marriage Certificate

Hi,
I'm planning to marry my fiance (who I met while in the US) through court wedding in California.
They will issue only a marriage certificate. Is this enough when I go to India for H4 visa stamping? Or is any other additional documentation needed? I will not be doing an elaborate ceremony in the US.

Married in US.marriage invitation and album needed for h4 stamping?

Hi,

I have the same problem. Did your wife go for H4 Stamping in India. I and my husband got married in Boston, MA. We do have Marriage certificate and few pictures of us getting married. We didn't have elaborate marriage ceremony like invitation cards or a huge album. It was a simple marriage. Do we need marriage invitation and many pictures apart from Marriage certificate for H4 Stamping?
