What was the start date and end date on the H1 approval notice, I797?

This is my opinion not legal advice.

My I-129 start date was 29th November 2011 and expiry date was 28th November 2012.

My Stamping date on my passport was 12th Jan 2012 and expiry date was 28th November 2012.

I have not traveled on this VISA.

My question is am I eligible for H1B transfer for another employer in USA on this I-129?

Are those the same dates on the I797 too? 29th November 2011 and expiry date 28th November 2012 ? If yes, then yes you would be cap exempt till 2017.

          Thanks Raghvi for clarification...

As per I797, it is written 'Petitioner Validity dates from 11/29/2011 to 11/28/2012'.
Also as per my H1 Visa stamping, 'expiration date' was mentioned as 28th November 2012 and 'PED' was mentioned as 28th November 2012.

Also request you to let me know if I am CAP exempted till 2017, can US employer file new H1B?
